It seems as though our summers are getting hotter and dryer. For this reason, the Huron Shores Fire Department would like you to consider burning brush and such in the winter months. As per Bylaw #23-25, Section 1 Subsection 6, of Schedule “A”, it states you can burn in the daytime in the months of December, January, February and March, as long as there is 25mm (1 inch) of snow on the ground. You will still require a permit, but will not be restricted to evening burns.
