Today, Wednesday, April 2nd, at noon, the Autism Ontario Flag was raised at Tally Ho Park in Iron Bridge in honour of World Autism Awareness Day.  Pictured:  Mayor Gil Reeves and Clerk/Administrator Debbie Tonelli raise the flag in the Council Chambers prior to the noon flag-raising in the park.

The Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Huron Shores will proclaim April 2nd as World Autism Awareness Day.  The following is a comment from Mayor Reeves:

“The Municipality of Huron Shores supports April 2, 2014 as Canada’s national Autism Awareness Day.  We are pleased to join the 300-plus Ontario municipalities raising the Autism flag at noon on April 2, 2014 to recognize the ongoing effort to raise awareness of autism in our communities.”
