Basswood Lake Road Construction Reconstruction of a portion of Basswood Lake Road, between its intersection with Big Basswood Lake Camp Road and the south entrance of Little Basswood Beach, is scheduled this summer and could start as early as Tuesday, July 14th. While the road is intended to be open to thru traffic during the construction period, travel could be delayed and will, for the most part, be restricted to one lane only. The traveling public is asked to be cautious and mindful of the presence of construction workers and heavy equipment in the noted area. Please watch for updates to this post with confirmed construction start dates for this project and another reconstruction project, also scheduled for this summer, for a portion of Ansonia Road.
