The Municipal Office will be closed on Monday, July 3rd, 2017, to recognize the Canada Day holiday, as identified in the Holidays Act.  The Office will re-open on Tuesday, July 4th, at 8:30 a.m.  Regular Office Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

All Huron Shores Waste Disposal and Recycling Sites will be closed on Canada Day, Saturday, July 1st.  The Waste Sites will re-open on Monday, July 3rd, at 4:00 p.m.  Waste Site Regular Summers Hours of Operation (April 1st – September 30th) are Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:00 to 8:00 pm. and Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  All Waste Disposal Sites in the Municipality of Huron Shores are closed on Statutory and Civic Holidays, Family Day, Easter Monday and Remembrance Day.  For more information, please visit the Waste Disposal and Recycling Program page.

The Fire Department reminds everyone to enjoy your weekend campfires and fireworks responsibly and safely.  Never leave your fire unattended, ensure that it is thoroughly extinguished at the end of the evening, and always have sufficient tools and water on hand nearby to maintain control of your fire.  Open Air Burning Permits are not required for a campfire, as defined under By-law #14-08.  Additional fire department information is available on the Fire Department page.
