Emergency Preparedness Week

The Emergency Preparedness week is taking place May 2-8, 2021. The theme this year is Emergency Preparedness: “Be Ready for Anything”. Emergency Preparedness week is a national event coordinated by Public Safety Canada, in close collaboration with the provinces and territories and partners. This is an opportunity to take action to ensure you are prepared to protect yourself, your family and your community during an emergency. Public Education and Government of Canada EP Week online resources are available for more information.

Don’t forget to participate in the EP Week Challenge for a chance to win an emergency kit by simply sharing a tip or picture showing how you’re helping to make you and your family better prepared to cope during an emergency; for example making an emergency kit with items found around your home, creating a family emergency plan, or becoming more informed about the hazards in your area. Submit using the hashtag #ReadyforAnything. Please see rules and regulations.
