Lyme Disease Awareness Petition at Municipal Office The Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Huron Shores, at its August 11th, 2011 Regular Meeting, passed Resolution #11-21-19, as follows: “WHEREAS correspondence and supporting documentation was received requesting that Council support and distribute a petition asking that the Provincial Government provide better testing, public and medical professional education regarding Lyme Disease; BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT Council authorize display of petition provided by Christine Heffer, at the Municipal Office for a one month period; AND THAT at the end of the one month the petition be forwarded to the Minister of Health and Long Term Care.” The petition will be available for signing at the Municipal Office during regular office hours (Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) until Monday, September 12th, 2011.
