Reminder: Municipal Volunteer Opportunities – Deadline December 12/12 The Municipality of Huron Shores is Seeking Volunteers to serve on the following Committees of Council: Economic Development Advisory Committee Four (4) individuals to join the existing Committee, with one (1) representative from each of the following sectors of the Community: farming/agriculture; forestry; tourism; and industrial/commercial. This committee meets monthly and reports to Council regarding all aspects of economic development. Non-Profit Housing Sub-Committee Total membership to be determined by interest received. This sub-committee will report to the Economic Development Advisory Committee. In liaison with the Algoma District Services Administration Board and Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, it will address the housing needs within the Municipality and review the establishment of a non-profit housing corporation.
