Northern Policy Institute is Northern Ontario’s independent think tank. We perform research, collect evidence, and disseminate ideas. We seek to identify policy opportunities to support the growth of sustainable Northern Ontario communities. Our regular operations are located in Thunder Bay and Sudbury. We seek to enhance Northern Ontario’s capacity to take the lead position on socio-economic policy that impacts Northern Ontario, Ontario, and Canada as a whole.

Communities, agencies, and organizations in all regions of Northern Ontario have committed to being more welcoming. To attacking racism and discrimination head on. To pursuing reconciliation through tangible action.

This survey will help us know what is, or is not working, and where.
The online survey will be in available for 4 weeks from June 22nd until July 16th, 2021.

English – https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/N2HQRZX
French – https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CK3HMCL

The results of the survey will be released annually and, provided we get a strong response from people in every one of our communities, the results will be as localized and specific as they can be made.

Please Note: NPI has also partnered with Environics Research who will be doing randomized telephone surveying in the ‘Big Five’ Northern Ontario communities – who have all selected to take part in RNIP (North Bay, Sudbury, Sault Ste. Marie, Timmins, and Thunder Bay). Respondents who participated in that random telephone poll are asked NOT to respond to the online version.
