Section 34 of the Planning Act

The Municipality of Huron Shores in the District of Algoma has received a Zoning Amendment Application, File No. 2021-Z-07.  The proposed amendment is site-specific to the property described as CON 2 LOT 3SPT RP 1R9484 PT 3 PT 4. A site-specific zoning amendment is being requested to reduce the rear yard setback from 3 meters to 2.3 meters, to accommodate the placement of a new C-Can accessory building, and to legalize the existing single detached dwelling as an additional permitted use to the Highway Commercial Zone.
A Special Public Meeting will be held October 13, 2021.

The purpose of this notice is to inform the public of the nature of the application, invite public input, advise on how to make comments on the application and advise the public of future notification and appeal rights.

If a person or public body that files an appeal in respect of the proposed consent does not make written submissions to the Council of the Municipality of Huron Shores before the Municipality gives or refuses to give a provisional consent, the Local Planning Appeals Tribunal may dismiss the appeal.

If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Council of the Municipality of Huron Shores in respect of the proposed consent, you must make a written request to the Municipality at the above address.

Appeal of a decision of the Municipality in respect of this consent may be made by any person or public body not later than 20 days after notice of the decision is given.
