Notice to Residents: Integrity Commissioner Services Under the Municipal Act, 2001, all municipalities in Ontario are required to appoint an Integrity Commissioner to ensure accountability and transparency in municipal governance. The Integrity Commissioner is responsible for overseeing compliance with the Members of Council Code of Conduct and promoting ethical behavior among elected and appointed officials. From 2019 to 2024, Expertise for Municipalities (E4M) provided the Municipality of Huron Shores with Integrity Commissioner services. Beginning in 2025, Charles A. Harnick, with ADR Chambers Inc. (ADRC), will serve as the Integrity Commissioner for the 2025–2029 term. ADR Chambers Inc. is committed to promoting fairness, impartiality, and accountability in their role with the Municipality.
