Public Notice of Application for Consent The Municipality of Huron Shores in the District of Algoma has received an Application for Consent File No. 2019-C-01, in the geographic Township of Thessalon. The application proposes to sever a 27.3 hectare (67.5 acre) parcel of agricultural land, from the retaining 59.8 hectares (148 acres) on lands described as Thessalon River LOT 19 NPT, PCL 1508 ALG, and Thessalon Plan H-790 LOT 24 PT RCP, in the Municipality of Huron Shores. This matter will be presented before Council at a Special Council Meeting to be held April 10, 2019. The purpose of this notice is to inform the public of the nature of the application, invite public input, advise on how to make comments on the application and advise the public of future notification and appeal rights. Appeal of a decision of the Municipality in respect of this consent may be made by any person or public body not later than 20 days after notice of the decision is given.
